Anger and frustration are natural emotions, but when they are not managed well, they can lead to conflict, poor judgment, and burnout.
Emotional Resilience and Anger Management at Work is a practical, skills-based workshop designed to help professionals recognise, understand, and manage their emotional responses under pressure. Instead of being driven by emotions, this workshop helps participants tune into what they are feeling and handle emotional outbursts in a calmer, more intentional way.
Participants learn to spot early signs of anger and stress, build emotional awareness, and apply simple techniques, such as mindful pausing, grounding, and cognitive reframing, to regulate their reactions in real time. Through guided reflection, workplace-relevant scenarios, and applied frameworks, they practice expressing difficult emotions assertively rather than aggressively, de-escalating tense interactions, and having clear communication even in emotionally tense situations.
Chronic, unmanaged anger and stress are closely linked to anxiety, depression, sleep difficulties, and burnout, and can erode our personal relationships, mental wellbeing and professional functioning over time. Learning to regulate emotions, set boundaries, and recover after high-pressure situations helps protect our peace, and reduce the risk of long-term stress-related problems
These transferable skills are highly valued across industries where employees engage with clients, colleagues, or stakeholders under pressure. The course also supports long-term career sustainability by helping workers prevent burnout, recover from setbacks, and demonstrate resilience, qualities that prepare them for progression into supervisory, leadership, and people-management roles in complex, dynamic work environments.
Develop emotional self-awareness to understand where our anger comes from.
Recognise common triggers, stress patterns, and escalation cycles that lead to reactive behaviour.
Understand the role of anger and other strong emotions in workplace communication and performance.
Learn practical emotional regulation techniques to respond more intentionally under pressure.
