Learning Outcomes

Alastair holds a MSocSc and is a professional counsellor, trainer and certified life and executive coach working with individuals, families, and organizations to bring about change. Using counselling and therapy, he works with clients to resolve emotional and relational issues that are affecting their lives.
As a coach and trainer, he enables clients to deal with internal & external resistance to make their desired goals and outcomes a reality. Whether through therapy, coaching or both, his objective is to help clients bring forth better versions of themselves so that lives can be transformed.

General public with an interest to apply coaching to develop or enhance their people management skills.
Certification
Learners who have successfully completed and passed the assessment will receive a Statement of Attainment (SOA) in Service Coaching issued by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).

Course Outline
Building the foundation
Understand the principles of coaching, the roles of coaches and how to assess for learning needs and performance gaps.
Building skills for action
Apply coaching techniques to overcome learning barriers and give feedback to support learning.
Monitoring coaching progress
Learn the different techniques to set future actions, monitor the actions and suggest areas for improvement.
Development of self as professional
Experiential practice and feedback from trainers to sharpen skills as a coach.
