In today’s fast-paced and demanding workplaces, mental well-being is key to both individual and organisational resilience. This one-day course equips participants with the practical knowledge and confidence to recognise early signs of stress or distress, respond supportively, and strengthen psychological safety through peer-to-peer care and communication.
Building Resilience and Psychological First Aid at the Workplace blends evidence-based frameworks with real-world application. Through scenario-based learning, reflective discussions, and skill practice, participants will learn to provide meaningful support using the Psychological First Aid (PFA) “Look–Listen–Link” framework while maintaining personal resilience and professional boundaries.
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to respond calmly under pressure, sustain their own well-being, and contribute to building a culture of care and trust at work.
Recognise the impact of workplace stress and mental health on engagement, morale, and productivity. Identify emotional and behavioural indicators of stress across the mental-health continuum.
Learn to notice early signs of distress, offer immediate supportive responses, and connect individuals to further help using the internationally recognised PFA Look–Listen–Link model.
Develop emotional regulation, empathy, and boundaries to sustain your own resilience. Foster trust-based communication and supportive habits that enhance team well-being and psychological safety.
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
Recognise early indicators of stress, burnout, and emotional strain in colleagues.
Apply the Look–Listen–Link PFA framework confidently in workplace situations.
Strengthen self-awareness and emotional regulation under pressure.
Foster a supportive, trust-based team culture through active listening and empathy.
Build sustainable resilience through self-care and peer-support strategies.
