Course Description

Great coaches know when to push, when to encourage, and when to be still to allow those being coached to figure things out themselves. They plant the seeds of success and nourish their children’s thirst for success. Yet, they are always there to help their children pick themselves up when their children falls, or when things don’t work out as planned.

Great coaches are emotionally engaged with their coachees and are able to bring out the best in them. 

The needs of children in the 21st century have evolved, but parents are still applying traditional mindsets and practices in their parenting approach and philosophies. Learn how to be a more effective parent using coaching strategies and apply the coaching frameworks to guide your actions and responses to your child.

Learn how parenting and coaching can go hand in hand from seasoned life and family coaches through this training. Theories will come to life through practice. You will be taught kills and techniques that can be used in everyday situations. And more importantly, you will develop a coaching mindset that will make you a more effective person and parent.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Examine your attitudes, beliefs and values about discipline
  • Prepare coaching plan to address child’s performance or behaviours
  • Uncover methods to identify areas of improvement through coaching
  • Overcome barriers to learning by employing different techniques for coaching
  • Demonstrate the use of coaching techniques to address child behaviours and motivate child
  • Apply techniques to monitor progress of child’s for improvements
